May 14, 2025—Lamkin Elementary School was named a Capturing Kids’ Hearts (CKH) National Showcase School for the 2024-25 school year.

CKH recognizes outstanding school administrators, teaching staff and faculty for producing exemplary outcomes and dedicated themselves to making a difference in the lives of children. The award highlights schools that have successfully adopted the CKH process, which focuses on building strong relationships and fostering a sense of belonging among students. These schools have demonstrated a robust implementation of the CKH process and achieved positive outcomes for students.
